Booking terms

Your booking becomes binding as soon as we have confirmed it in writing and received your deposit. The deposit is [amount open] and is due within [period open] of the confirmation. It is credited against the total price. You pay the balance [date open] by bank transfer or by card on site.

Open: amount of the deposit (e.g. 30 % of the total price), payment period (e.g. 7 days after confirmation) and date for the balance (e.g. on arrival).

You may withdraw from the contract at any time. Please notify us of your cancellation in writing; an email to info@stofnerhof.it is sufficient. The day on which we receive your message is decisive. As consideration for the withdrawal (Art. 1373(3) Italian Civil Code) we charge:

more than 60 days before arrival

the deposit paid

60 to 20 days before arrival

60 % of the total price

fewer than 20 days before arrival, or no-show

100 % of the total price

late arrival or early departure

100 % of the price for the days not used

If we can re-let the apartment for the cancelled period, we credit the income against the cancellation fee. We refund anything you have already paid beyond the cancellation fee. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

If we have to cancel a confirmed booking for reasons for which we are responsible, we pay you back twice the deposit (Art. 33(2)(e) Italian Consumer Code). If we cannot provide the accommodation for reasons beyond our control, for example after a severe storm, we refund all payments made.

When booking accommodation for a specific period, there is no 14-day right of withdrawal, not even for bookings by email, phone or contact form (Art. 59(1)(n) Italian Consumer Code). Cancellation is possible on the terms set out above.
